If it were easy, it would have been your mom

This morning I was offended when my operating system presented me with the option to "Turn off Yo Mama" rather than allowing me to "Turn off computer," which is what I really wanted to do. Does someone at Microsoft think this is funny?

Are you running Windows? Go to the Start Menu, and pick Log Off --> Switch User, and then look at the note in the bottom-left corner. Perhaps I'm not the only one suffering from this indignity. At least this didn't happen on Mather's Day.

When you press the power button in the morning does the computer say" Turn on yo momma?" That would be truly lude.

JJ when you first got your computer, you had to give it a name. You named it Yo Mama.

My computer's name is Mr. Wendell (the Winbook), so when I go to switch users, it says "Turn off Mr. Wendell."

Abigail, you're right! Mystery solved. At least partially. I have no recollection of ever naming my computer "Yo Mama." That doesn't even make sense.

I think my readers will appreciate your operating system tips. Remember, please use responsibly.
